Canon Sure Shot 38mm f2.8
a.k.a. Canon Autoboy 2
Tested and includes new battery
"Improved version of the original Autoboy. It has a 38mm f/2.8 lens (4 elements in 4 groups) and a triangulation system using a near-infrared beam for autofocusing. Prefocus was achieved by pressing the shutter button halfway.
To load film, you just position the film leader at the specified mark and press the shutter button to advance to the first frame. Film advance was automatic. To rewind film, hold down the lock release button and slide the rewind switch. Exposures are controlled electronically with a program. The external design is timeless and orthodox.
Autoboy 2 QD (released in April 1983) was a Canon Autoboy 2 with a date imprinting feature on the camera back. It also cost 5,000 yen more." -
Please note that this camera is tested by The (FPP) Film Photography Project. Camera is vintage and may have a few scuffs and/or physical imperfections. These imperfections will not affect performance. Camera does not ship with instruction or original box. Image is Canon stock image. Due to the cameras age, we do not grade the lens glass, inspect seals or test shutter accuracy. We do not accept returns.
