You can tighten this to cages or any accessories via the thumb screw or really torque down on it with a hex spanner through the slotted hole.

This aluminum Ball Head with a 3/8"-16 ARRI-Style Anti-Twist Screw is designed to be used with the various ball head magic arms and ball head clamps. Your accessory secures using the thumbscrew and you can add torque by using an Allen wrench. It is compatible with most Magic Arms, Friction Arms, and Israeli Arms using a dual ball head system.
